SINGAPORE, 11 December 2017 – Get GO Global (GO) announced today that it is developing on-demand digital logistics platforms to empower ASEAN Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SMEs) to digitalise their supply chains.
Historically, SMEs have grappled manual processes to search, source quotes and book freight forwarding and warehousing services. Multiple steps and vendor responses can take hours to days to complete a single transaction.
GO is developing its GO FREIGHT and GO DC platforms to bring on-demand competitive quotes and instant bookings for SMEs across ASEAN. This will position SMEs to take advantage of steady regional trade liberalisation and widening use of cloud-connected smartphones and devices to conduct trade anywhere, anytime.
SMEs are important economic pillars in ASEAN, making up 46% the region’s USD$2.4 trillion GDP and spend an estimated USD$200 billion annually on logistics services. Under the ASEAN Economic Community 2025 blueprint, SMEs are singled out for focused development along trade and technological themes.
Headquartered in Singapore, GO plans to be market ready in 2018. For further information and registration of interest, visit http://get-go.io.
